Is this what Huxley meant?

An X-Box came bundled with their new mega-television. I am led to understand that she will have mastered an i-phone by the time she is three. Mummy is teaching herself how to set-up and take family portraits by remote. She had to hurry though: the fish'n'chips was getting cold.

It really does blow your mind to think how different Alannah's childhood will be from our own.

The little one is always so engaged. Its as if she is taking it all in coz she knows she has a lot to learn.

Joan: She is one of those people who are sponges - just soak it all up. She watched me say 'hello' today. She watched my lips; then looked at my eyes. I said 'again'? So she watched my lips. Then she tried to rip my lips off!! I must have said 'hello' a dozen times. I sat there a lot today as both mother and child slept.

BC: The differences are quite exhilarating, I find. But I can see much of what I did with Kirsten being 'channelled'. Most gratifying.

Sonya has a friend with a 3 year old who has learnt how to operate the children's TV channel but she unknowingly ordered a few movies too.
