Cinema: The Class

This film was very disappointing: we both nodded off in the first third! Not a patch on "To be and to have" that Lesley and I saw back in 2003. This one was overwhelmingly in the classroom and gave very little background to each of the teenagers. It was emotionally detached and yet word of mouth was good and the theatre was full.

Rating: *
Cinema: Verona
With: Christine

A-ha!
So this is when you sleep!!
I've been wondering how you fit it in with such a busy life and such prolific blogging.
You are really jamming life in, aren't you?
I've always wished I could be like that - but I'm just one of those terribly slow-moving people.
I used to rail against it (am I using rail in the right context here?) - now I just accept it and it has made me a much happier person.
When I move too fast, my brain gathers momentum and leaves me dragging behind as it spins out of control.

I haven't heard of this film.
I'm looking forward to The Reader though.
And yesterday I watched Ghost Town - it was "eh". I haven't quite put my finger on what it was about it that was "eh".
