I located an Anglican church in the block around from Dad's Nursing Home. It is small - almost like a chapel in the round with a congregation less than 100. The Rector appears not to be dogmatic and his website has a self-deprecatory humour. The parishioners are very friendly and there is a wide age range. And to cap all this - there are no steps! If I listen to what they say rather than get spooked by the ritual, I might come to a deeper understanding of what a religious sensibility entails.
