The line stretches on

As I progress through this morning in readiness to catching the 3pm flight to Paris this afternoon, I want to share with you my day yesterday. It was wall-to-wall family.

My daughter, grand-daughter and I had lunch at Neilsen Park. Then we visited my father in his nursing home in Paddington, down the road from where I type this. Whilst there, we 'entertained' so many of the old people who were delighted to meet Alannah. We also introduced Alannah to Alex, a much younger disabled resident who responded so delightfully to a young person. In the evening, we were joined by my whirlwind son, who entertained us with his antics and garrulousness, whilst also fixing blown globes and wayward netbook installations. In between time, I fielded calls from brothers and cousins.

So good to be part of a family ...

Yes family is a wonderful thing. You can see family resemblances among you all. And do have a wonderful trip ... looking forward to the reports as eagerly as I read the daily Biting Midge epistle from France.

Damn! I have gobs of internet today, and logged on to see when you leave... three hours ago!

Look out for us in Paris on Monday! and have a great trip. Don't miss any of them for more than a few moments at a time.

A great photo of 4 generations. It must be comforting to know you have family who care. Now come on with the Paris posts.

Thank you for these last two comments which I have only just discovered.

I am trying to work out how to show my take on Paris, but am having trouble with a design.
