Kirsten drove us over to Northbridge today to visit my Uncle Gordon who turns 91 on Thursday. He is my father's older brother. His wife, Murielle, was 88 in the middle of August. They live together in a house they purchased in 1964. They have recently had rails installed throughout the house.
This was the first time my father, Laurie, who is 89 had met his great-grand-daughter, Alannah. Kirsten took some great footage of him singing to her cuddled on his lap. It was an interesting morning tea with ages 91, 89, 88, 62, 31 and 0.

Fabulous, must be wonderful to have that sense of continuity.
I love these photos - especially the ones with Alannah - those fat little cheeks and those pretty little eyes.
Oh look at that little angel with the clasping hand at the top. I am quite envious of you.
Thank you for this. It is quite a delight, really. I would see them every other day at the moment. So nice to be so hands on.
We are organising a big family reunion for next March. Here's hoping the three oldies in this post are around and well then. We have over 60 acceptances out of a possible 99 at this stage.
Living histories. She is a cherub and the oldies are gorgeous too. Lovely portraits.
