At the very beginning of this video, one can see Alannah's brow crease as she tries to understand what her daddy is doing. This video was taken this morning when Alannah was three weeks and two days old.
You could both talk a bit more on the videos - not necessarily on this one though as I figure it was stressful - I was stressed just watching it. I love to see the brain working.
I was trying to capture a moment that was already taking place, not create a moment for the camera. Important distinction I think. And just wait... there are some more videos coming where we do talk to the camera...
What a bright little button she is. Make me nostalgic for this old days when I used to have lots of little nieces and nephews to cuddle.
I don't have little people in my life much any more even though a little 3 year old at church has recently taken up with an imaginary friend called Joan. After close questioning by her parents she confirmed that the friend she was inviting over for sleep overs was indeed the nice lady Joan at church ... what an honour.

Yes the camera work is still a bit dodgy... but I am getting better! My favourite bit is the tongue sticking out at the end.

Ah, yes. That equates me my not liking to take posed shots but capture 'normalcy'.
Goodie ... goodie ... I am giving my courtyard a haircut today.
